The founder and managing partner of Literati Information Technology, Hank has been a Morgantown resident since 1983. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from West Virginia University.
His IT career began with an internship at Cincinnati Bell Telephone during his time at The Ohio State University, and upon returning to Morgantown, he provided part-time IT support for a business at a segment of WVU Hospital. While in college, Hank founded Literati Software, which later evolved into Literati Information Technology before his graduation from WVU.
Hank's primary responsibility is ensuring client success in leveraging IT. Collaborating with the Literati team, he plays a pivotal role in devising, implementing, and managing IT solutions to help Literati’s clients succeed.
To help Literati’s clients and the company, Hank continuously learns from technical subjects like cybersecurity and Microsoft 365 to business skills including leadership, marketing, and sales. He has earned various technical certifications, and he is a graduate of Leadership Monongalia.
Beyond work, Hank actively participates in the Boy Scouts of America, serving as the Scoutmaster for Troop 65 in Morgantown for almost 25 years. His dedication to the community has been recognized with awards such as Eagle Scout, Order of the Arrow Vigil honor, Silver Beaver award, and the National Eagle Scout Association Outstanding Eagle Scout Award.
He also coordinates behind-the-scenes activities for the Morgantown High School Boys Lacrosse team and is a member of the Trustees of Spruce Street United Methodist Church.
